As-Built Modeling
For existing plants & treatment facilities, as age and needs of a company change, there’s always need to make changes and updates to make sure the facilities still meet those needs.
Process initiated with detailed point clouds, which enables 3D modeling for diverse tasks including building reconstruction, plant layout and enhanced data presentation with augmented reality.
XDEC expertise in creating realistic and precise 3D models with complete detailed views from multiple angles, which can easily carry out the needed analysis of engineering or visualization and this paves way for a more efficient development process with accuracy and perfection.

Non-Intelligent 3D (Primitive Modeling)
XDEC uses primitive model software to convert the captured 3D laser scans into accurate to scale 3D models representing existing plant conditions.
The resulting 3D model is an object-based model that directly reflects the characteristics of the underlying process elements it represents. Asset intelligence (i.e., based on P&ID data) can then be added to the 3D model, thus creating a more functional database. It also becomes the starting point for linking the 3D model with the various enterprise systems.
Intelligent 3D Modeling
Companies requires effective managing cost and schedule on complex project initiatives involving multiple design centers worldwide, XDEC uses capabilities needed to design facilities and maintain 3D virtual model for implementing in the lifecycle, along with client intellectual property remains secure and that best practice design information be preserved for reuse on future projects. Preserved model may also be exported to popular CAD systems as the basis for capital projects and ongoing engineering modifications
